Director of Sales, Brand Solutions
OVERVIEW:
Hipcricket is looking for a Director of Sales to add to its growing Brand Team. Hipcricket is a mobile marketing and solutions company that works with Agency’s, Brands and Broadcast clients. This candidate will be focused on selling mobile campaigns and Hipcricket’s self service platform into Agency’s and Fortune 500 brands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sell mobile marketing campaigns and solutions into Agencies, Fortune 500 Brands, Retailers and QSRs from concept through to execution
- Ability to educate and sell through to potential clients on the benefits of mobile marketing and the advantages of Hipcricket over its competitors.
- Create and present custom concepts and proposals to existing and new clients based upon their marketing goals and objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with VP Brand Solutions and the Brand Solutions team to optimize revenue performance across industry verticals
- Ability to closely understand the sales process and meeting revenue goals.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum (5) five years of outside business to business sales experience within the Agency, Mobile Marketing and/or Mobile Advertising worlds. Retail and QSR relationships a plus.
- Strong Understanding of the mobile ecosystem a strong plus;
- Experience developing leads, setting appointments, and conducting face-to-face client meetings
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Salesforce.com experience a plus

Program Manager
We are looking for a program manager to join our software services team. In this role you will manage a portfolio of concurrent projects that deliver solutions for our clients, along with extensible features for the Hipcricket platform. Our ideal candidate can lead small development teams from project inception through delivery. Familiarity with multiple methods of project management is a must, as different projects call for different management solutions. Experience with the delivery of web, mobile web, SMS, and MMS solutions is highly valuable, as is experience integrating with IVR, mobile device applications, advertisers, analytics providers and content providers. Experience with MMA and Carrier mobile program compliance is extremely desirable.
As a successful candidate, you will have high enthusiasm for technology and business. You will understand our clients, and apply appropriate process controls to ensure great management of our services portfolio.
This is a significant role at Hipcricket. In this role, you will be involved with all aspects of the solutions life cycle. You will work closely with the product management, sales, clients, account managers and technology members to identify requirements, propose solutions, manage our project portfolio and work with development and test team members to implement new features and customer-facing solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with clients, account managers, product management, technology team members and clients to clarify requirements and propose design alternatives
- Work with technology management and team members to optimize the software project portfolio
- Generate estimates, alternatives, impact analysis and schedules for design alternatives
- Work with technology team members to specify, develop, test, implement, deploy and sustain software solutions
- Enhance existing legacy software platform and applications, and provide migration paths for new technology efforts
- Provide technical expertise, and mentor other members of our team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of full life-cycle development methodologies from idea inception through operations support. Experience with Agile development methods preferred.

Senior Product Manager
The Product Manager will establish the strategy, process and requirements for successfully rolling out products to the sales force and customers. They will be the eyes and ears on the street to help inform the business and technology teams about feature requests from internal and external users. This person will partner with a team of world-class engineers, client service, business operations, and marketers to prioritize and drive the features and functionality that will enable Hipcricket to deliver maximum value to our customers through ongoing product improvements. This candidate will need to be extremely customer focused and will need to balance insights from both internal and external users. The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for creating the product sales cycle, developing and prioritizing product requirements based on market needs, supporting sales with the development of RFP/sales collateral, supporting sales in product specific sales calls to ensure we are providing accurate information about our product set and accurate expectations around delivery of our product set. They will be constantly informing internal teams of market trends they are hearing directly from prospect and client interactions. They must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales and knowledge of technology. They need to be extremely comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. They must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven track record of supporting successful revenue driven organizations

Software Developer

We are looking for a software developer to join out technology team. Our ideal candidate can be both a sole contributor on small projects and a great team member on larger projects, working with small software teams to deliver features and components that delight our clients and extend our mobile platform. As a successful candidate, you will have past experience constructing data driven multi-lingual CMS solutions, as well has experience constructing and using APIs and transaction engine agents. You will demonstrate expertise and experience in Microsoft technologies including ASP (classic and dot net), C#, MVC patterns, LINQ, MSMQ, SQL Server 2005/2008, JQuery and Web Services V2.0In this role, you will be involved with many aspects of the product life cycle. You will work closely with the program managers, developers and test engineers. You will construct software, software unit tests and ensure great documentation. You will participate in design, systems integration, and in all quality assurance practices. Your communication skills (both oral and written) must be excellent.
