Director of Sales, Brand Solutions

OVERVIEW:

We are  looking for a Director of Sales to add to its growing Brand Team. Hipcricket is a mobile marketing and solutions company that works with Agencies, Brands and Broadcast clients. This candidate will be focused on selling mobile campaigns and Hipcricket’s self service platform into Agency’s and Fortune 500 brands.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell mobile marketing campaigns and solutions into Agencies, Fortune 500 Brands, Retailers and QSRs from concept through to execution
  • Ability to educate and sell through to potential clients on the benefits of mobile marketing and the advantages of Hipcricket over its competitors
  • Create and present custom concepts and proposals to existing and new clients based upon their marketing goals and objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with VP Brand Solutions and the Brand Solutions team to optimize revenue performance across industry verticals

Revenue Cycle Accountant

 OVERVIEW:

  • Responsibility for determining, in conjunction with the Controller, revenue treatment of contracts - approximately 75% of the agreements are standard; approximately 75% is SAAS revenues
  • Assist in integration of Augme and Hipcricket billing processes and procedures, determining best practices
  • Enter the contract billing and revenue recognition into an Access database
  • Prepare the monthly billing via upload from Access into the G/L system
  • Calculate, track and report on commissions for sales staff
  • Maintain related general ledger accounts, including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial analysis
  • Prepare accounting schedules and supporting documentation for the year-end audit
  • Manage cash receipts/collections process
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial budgets and related monthly reporting compared to actual on a departmental basis

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in a high-tech software or hardware business
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience or equivalent
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting preferred

Senior Systems Administrator - Atlanta, Georgia

OVERVIEW:

Hipcricket is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible operations engineer professional for our Atlanta, Georgia office to help us forge a platform for the ever-evolving mobile world.

As Senior Systems Administrator you will work as a member of the production operations staff that is responsible for 24x7 availability of the production environment. You will collaborate with internal and external operations teams to support the delivery of a highly available production environment.

SEC Financial Reporting Manager

Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this newly created position will manage the reporting and analysis function. The SEC Financial Reporting Manager will interact closely with senior management and private equity shareholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • Lead quarterly external SEC filing process (10-Q), which includes drafting and reviewing documents, ensuring quality, and administering strict timeline
  • Lead annual external SEC filing process (10K), which includes working across the entire organization to refresh all annual disclosures; draft and review documents; coordinate legal and executive review; and ensure quality and timeliness

Senior Sales Solutions Engineers - Washington / New York

We are looking for two Senior Sales Solutions Engineers - one position will be based in our Kirkland, Washington office, and the other in our New York office.

As a member of the Hipcricket Mobile Solutions team, this person will possess and demonstrate a deep understanding of the Hipcricket product and services portfolio as well as current and future mobile technologies and trends for marketers and advertisers to promote and leverage in order to achieve their mobile engagement objectives. The individual will be the primary resource available to the Hipcricket field sales force and product management teams responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation and scoping stage of the sales process.

Working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for Hipcricket products and services, the Senior Sales Solutions Engineer must be able to  articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. This person must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. This person must also be able to establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales lifecycle, and have a keen sense as to what is myth and reality in an ever evolving space.

The Senior Sales Solutions Engineer will be comfortable working closely with the Hipcricket engineering team to understand the capabilities of the Hipcricket offering, ensuring they match with the client's expectations. In addition, this person must be able to articulate custom client requirements to the engineering team, contributing to the product's organic growth, and helping to ensure a successful outcome for all.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become an expert on the Hipcricket mobile marketing and advertising product and services portfolio, and processes
  • Lead the functional and technical elements of customer proposals and RF(x) responses for new and existing customers
  • Work with Hipcricket sales team and customers to understand needs and wants and translate those into an executable list of functional requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
