We’re looking for an enthusiastic and flexible quality assurance professional with a great test background, and an interest in our business to help us forge a platform for the ever evolving mobile world.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and execution of white, grey, and black box test plans for HipCricket's proprietary applications. You will perform integration, functional, and regression testing for various features and applications in a fast-paced atmosphere. This position is responsible for providing thorough documentation of issues to developers, and verifying that those issues are resolved according to procedure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and execute test plans and test cases

Assist in the resolution of discovered issues

Work closely with developers and product management to ensure client and business objectives are met

Assist in the development and execution of automated functional and regression tests

Strong and thorough testing and documentation skills

Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment is a must

Demonstrated excellent communications skills, both written and oral
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
2+ years experience of software testing and quality assurance of web applications
-
2+ years experience with ASP, SQL Server 2005 and Dot Net technologies

Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines

Effective organizational, analytical and problem solving skills

Proven record of completing projects on time and to specification

Attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to communicate clearly in writing, by phone, and in person

Prefer experience working in a marketing, broadcast or wireless based environment

Prefer experience working with a large-scale OLTP application

Prefer BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering

Experience with load and stress testing of multiple servers a plus

In addition to technical proficiency in these areas, applicable candidates will have strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency with at least one scripting language (Windows Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Bash, etc...)

Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, RAD, etc...)

Staff Accountant
JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant

DEPARTMENT: Accounting
REPORTS TO: Controller
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of the Billing cycle
- Manage and maintain the Billings/Revenue database
- Manage and maintain deferred revenue accounts
- Determine revenue recognition treatment for contracts and record accordingly
- Manage customer invoice generation and employ collection methods on accounts that become outstanding
- Be the primary contact for billing inquiries
- Prepare A/R aging and other ad hoc expense reporting, as required
- Prepare GL entries, reconcile ledger accounts, prepare schedules
- Process & track commission schedules
- Process & track employee expense reporting and reimbursement
- Enforce expense control measures through expense detail reviews
- Provide backup to payroll & A/P during vacations and otherwise as required
- Furnish internal reports, revise and update reports to be more useful and efficient, as necessary
- Assist the Controller in preparing the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports
- Assist the Controller in maintaining client contracts, monthly revenue, and collection close processes
- Provide overall assistance to the Controller, and as necessary the CFO.
- Maintain appropriate internal control safeguards
- Ensure records and systems are maintained in accordance with GAAP
- Present a professional demeanor that communicates a corporate philosophy of customer service in response to both internal and external questions regarding company related processes and procedures
- Other related responsibilities as required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of accounting experience.
- Two (2) plus years in a revenue focused position.
- Knowledge of GAAP.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems, MYOB and ADP a plus.
- Knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
