Phone Interviews
After you submit your resume and we determine there’s a potential skill fit, you will be contacted for a telephone interview. The phone interview assesses your technical skills and proficiency to the level of determining whether you should be scheduled for further interviews. Typically phone interviews last about 30 minutes.

- Familiarize yourself with HipCricket’s products and services. Research our industry and competitors.
- Familiarize yourself with the job description you’re interested in.
In-person Interviews
During your interviews, you'll meet with several potential colleagues from different teams who will give a cross-departmental view of HipCricket. Interviewers will pose questions related to your area of interest and ask you to respond in real-time. Our interview process seeks to evaluate your analytical skills and behavioral characteristics. Remember, it's often not a question of getting the answer right or wrong, but rather how you approach the situation.
- If you are interviewing for a technical role, be ready to answer high-level technical questions. We would like you to whiteboard your answers with our engineers.
- Ensure you can substantiate anything your resume says - for instance, if you list Java as your key programming language, questions about this are fair game and may be asked of you.
Team Hiring
Virtually every person who interviews at HipCricket talks to at least five interviewers, from both management and potential colleagues. Everyone's opinion counts, ensuring our hiring process is fair while maintaining high standards as we grow. Yes, it takes longer, but we believe it's worth the effort. When we have great people and make them an integral part of the interview process, we are likely to hire more great people.

Following your interviews, we’ll decide if you’re a likely candidate for the job opening. We take hiring very seriously and like to make consensus-based decisions. To that end, it may take some time.
